We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Iowa City Church a great one!

What can I expect?

FOUR THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT OUR SERVICE:

• Our service is about 60 minutes in length. Service begins with our worship band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship.​

• You will hear a relevant sermon grounded in the Bible, as well as an opportunity to respond in worship and prayer.​

​

• We celebrate Communion every Sunday, remembering the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you believe this, celebrate with us! We have 3 communion stations setup in our worship center. Our ministry team will share in detail when to pick up communion during the service.  

​

• At the end of the service you will hear about upcoming activities. We will also talk about offering, our offering is for members and regular attendees; guests should not feel obligated to give.

WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT IOWA CITY CHURCH?

Sundays at Iowa City Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. You will see smiling faces. We don't come together for church because we have to--we love this! 

 

As far as dress, you will see some dressed very casually, some in a coat and tie, and everything in between. Come as you are in what is comfortable for you and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

 

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

"We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at IC3 KIDS, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our IC3 Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra 5-10 minutes to get signed in at the IC3 KIDS experience located across the hall from the ballroom. IC3 KIDS and Nursery is offered during our worship service for kids ages infant through 5th grade."
